TradeMerit ISF Services
Importers whose goods are entering a port in the US via an ocean vessel are now being required to comply with the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Importer Security Filing (ISF) “10+2” Program.
For over two decades, TradeMerit’s professionals have been involved in every aspect of compliance management. Whether it be globally or within NAFTA, TradeMerit has developed a strong knowledge base meeting importer and exporter compliance requirements through technology.
In order to address the requirements of this new “10 + 2” regulation, TradeMerit has created three ISF services that will each meet the needs of Importers. They are
1. ISF Enhanced
A web based service that enables Importers to simply fill in the required data elements and receive updates on their ISF status for as little as 99 cent per filing.
2. ISF Collaborative
A collaborative platform that allows trading partners to enter some of the required data elements, reducing the effort required to collect data.
3. ISF Premium
A service that automatically collects the required ISF data from the commercial documentation and sends it to CBP eliminating the potential for errors. Manual intervention to address any errors and then communicate with trading partners to correct them are part of this service.
These services require the Importer to:
- Register an account with TradeMerit.
- Complete and submit a power of attorney to TradeMerit.
